# What is Heartsome?

Heartsome is an HR and recruitment tool for companies that want to keep their people administration and recruitment simple and organised. In Heartsome you'll find everything in one place: from requesting time off and reporting sick to contracts, documents and reviews.

Heartsome is designed for companies without a large HR department. The tool guides you through the most important HR processes so nothing slips through the cracks, even if HR isn't your main responsibility.

### What can you do in Heartsome?

As an **employee** you can:
* Request time off and view your balance
* Report yourself as sick
* Manage your personal details and documents
* View your colleagues and the company structure
* View your reviews
* Fill in surveys

As an **HR admin** or **Manager** you can also:
* Approve or decline time off requests
* Register and follow up on absence
* Add and manage employees
