Filling in a survey

Learn how to fill in a survey from your employer. It usually only takes a few minutes.

Where do you find the survey?

You'll get the survey in one of these ways:

  • By email: an invitation with the subject "You're invited: [title]". Open the link in the email.
  • Via a link: your HR admin shares a link, for example in Slack, Teams or an email.

How to fill it in

  1. Open the invitation or the link.
  2. At the top you'll see whether the survey is anonymous: "Your responses will be anonymous" or "Your responses will be associated with your account".
  3. Click Start survey.
  4. Answer the questions one by one. Continue with Next or press Enter. Back takes you to the previous question.
  5. After the last question, click Review answers. You'll see all your answers together. Any question you skipped shows as Not answered.
  6. Click Submit survey.

You have to answer questions marked Required before you can submit the survey.

Stopped halfway?

Open the invitation or the link again. Choose Resume where you left off to carry on, or Start from the beginning to start again.

Good to know

  • Is the survey not anonymous? Then you'll need to log in to Heartsome first when you use the shared link. You don't need to with the link in your personal invitation.
  • You can only fill in a survey once. Once you've submitted it, you can't change your answers.
  • Seeing "This survey is no longer accepting responses"? Then the survey has been closed.
  • In an anonymous survey, your employer can't see what you answered. Results only become visible once at least 3 people have responded.
